I build what I'd want in my own home.
Started woodworking because I was broke and needed furniture. Turns out I loved it. Now I build rocking chairs, dining tables, bar tops, butcher blocks, dog beds, keepsake boxes, and custom Bluetooth speaker boxes. All from solid wood, all by hand.
Every species of wood is different. The grain, the weight, the character. I pay attention to all of it. Your piece will be built around the wood, not in spite of it.
